Family Friendly

You love your kids. You love shopping. But combining the two can be tricky. Here at Westquay we want your trip to our centre to be as pleasant as possible. Which is why we’ve got lots of things to make life for you a little bit easier, and shopping for them a little bit more fun.

Family parking

We have allocated larger parking spaces for young families, making it easier to get in and out of the car with prams and pushchairs. You can find them on Levels -1, 0 and 1 of the Podium Car Park.

Family Room

Located on Level three, with access adjacent to Boux Avenue, customers will find our new toilet facilities, which includes a Family Room. With private feeding rooms, baby changing facilities, a food preparation area with microwave, water bottle filler/ drinking fountain and a play room, your visit to westquay has been made easier. Changing Places

We have a Changing Places toilet on Level 1. This is for older families and people with disabilities. It contains a large wall-mounted bench and hoist. You need to have a Radar Key to access this facility. It you do not have a key, please call our Control Room on: 02380 336 815.

Eating

We have 50 restaurants and cafes at Westquay. Most have highchairs and many have baby change facilities too. Just ask if you’d like your baby’s bottle warmed, many restaurants will be happy to do it. Breastfeeding is welcomed throughout the centre.

Bottle warmers and a microwave are also located on Level 3 (new facilities) These facilities also have drinking water and hot water. Child Safety Westquay is a designated child-safe area and staff are trained to deal with lost children. Collect a wristband that you can write your mobile number on from a member of the Westquay Team.
